The Mounds View Mountain Bike Team started in 2012 with nine kids and three coaches. After initially being a part of the Roseville Composite Team, Mounds View became its own team in 2019, representing teams from the Mounds View School District who will or eventually will attend Mounds View or Irondale High Schools and Totino Grace. We are governed by the Minnesota Cycling Association and race in their races. In 2025, Mounds View Bike Team had over 90 riders and 30 coaches.
Our mission is to build strong minds, strong bodies, and strong character within a team community who share a passion for mountain biking.
Our core values are safety, sustainability, inclusivity, equality, resiliency, confidence, and work ethic.
Our goals are to create a life-long love for cycling and fitness, support individual student athletes’ goals, ensure team members support each other, and foster an environment of community and friendship.
